I build custom websites and the systems behind them, for businesses.
I started programming at 14 to optimize something in a game I was playing, and I never really stopped. Now I'm studying IT at RTU in Riga. Programming is my job, and pretty much my hobby too.
I mostly care about building things that last. I want a website to still work fine in ten years, without needing constant updates to keep it running (apart from security, obviously). That's why I build everything custom instead of using WordPress, Wix or anything like them. In my free time I mess around with IoT and smart home projects, and I like working out how to make a business run better.
